#A to Z Challenge Letter H is for Hotels

The Crescent
H is for hotel.

I've pictured three very different hotels.
The Crescent is in Eureka Springs, AR, the Gettysburg Hotel in Gettysburg PA, and the Happy Hollow Hotel in Hot Springs AR.

We drove around the back and found it just as beautiful as the front. This is the view from the back. If you look closely, you can see the crescent moon on the top of the spire of the Crescent. While I haven't stayed at any of these, I've adored the grounds of the Crescent from afar.
The Gettysburg Hotel

We drove around this quaint town when they were having a fair with booths set up around the square. I purchased goat's milk soap and bakery items.

My sister spent her honeymoon at this spot in Hot Springs, Arkansas, approximately 35 years before I took this picture. We drove off the main road 20 miles to explore this quaint town. The springs are supposed to have restorative qualities. There is a national historic site, it is still a popular spot for tourists.
